The central groove follows the E2
1. 20m (5) climb the groove passing a large spike at half height to a steep turfy groove, belay on a ledge to the left at the base of The Gnomon
2. 30m (8) Step around right into the groove and follow this and a ramp rightwards to the base of the main groove. Climb this with increasing difficulty to a ledge then finish up a crack to belay in the bay above the Gnomon.
3. 20m (4) climb the gully above passing some loose blocks.
