Rockfax Description
A swerving line that finishes boldly up the headwall of the cliff. Start on the huge boulder that rests against the base of the right-hand side of the crag.
1) 4c, 23m. Move up the wall to a horizontal break and climb leftwards along a crack to an area of quartz. Move up to the corner and follow it to a stance and belay below an overhang.
2) 5a, 18m. Move rightwards to clear the overhang and gain the headwall. Move up rightwards towards the corner of Thane before climbing back slightly left and boldly ascending the wall to the top. © Rockfax

Lead as 2 pitches, gear on the second pitch makes the upper section interesting

Nice belay in the sun.Not enough decent gear on P2 for me to want to lead it.

Great route! Strong lead from Ahab, glad I wasn't on the sharp end for this one! The move out of the stance warrants 5b, in my opinion. Definitely E1 psychologically.

Ran it in one long pitch. Lower section is pretty steady - although big cam or hex/large sling is needed at the first belay stance, was disappointed not to have anything large enough for the available placements and had to fiddle around for small pro instead. Leaving the stance is a little tricky and the top part felt bold to me.

Led P1, Ed did P2.

Slightly scrappy first pitch. Crux moves off the belay on P2 are bold, after that it's steady with good but spaced gear. Might be best done as one pitch with 60m ropes?

Great route, easy to do in one pitch. Getting off the middle ledge is a tricky long reach.

Lead p2 but didn't find particularly bold. Some nice climbing on some excellent little pockets! Thought hardest move was some step across on p1.
