25m. Climb The Nonsense Man Start to the ledge. Get onto the narrow slab between the cracks of Ash Tree Slab and Nettlerash, then crimp and smear up without further use of the cracks. Easy climbing leads to a ledge beneath the undercut left arete of the top slab. Gain its jutting nose and finish up the arete in a fine exposed position. (This is the eliminate E1 variation referred to but not named in the definitive guide.)
