Happy Wanderer 4 Jul AltLd Epic day out. One of the 5b pitches more like 5c+(to which my bruised knees will testify) but great adventure. Lower pitches remain soggy after rain for added excitement. Real mixture and worthwhile route.

MD 4 Jul AltLd O/S What an amazing adventure. Reminded me a bit of the idwal slabs only a lot longer and harder with more continuation walls. The first four pitches were pretty wet from yesterday's thunder storm which made the 5c and 5b sections exhilerating. I thought pitch 6 was hard for 5b, more like 5c. Pitch 9 easy for 5c and pitch 11 more like 4c than 4b. The view from the top and on route is fantastic. In spite of the route name I didn't hear any chamois farting, but there were plenty other unexplained noises... led p1, p2, p4, p6, p7, p8, p9, p11and p14. The 4 scrambles between pitches are easy to follow as is the scramble at the top to a huge cairn.

Dawlish 12 Aug, 2011 Lead O/S L1 - hardest move on climb is getting off the ground! L4 - not the hardest pitch but found it to be the crux as its very sustained all the way and bolts feel a bit spaced L6 - Nice pitch well bolted L8 - now given 5c in new guide and bolts are spaced L13 - rotten belay position for the last pitch L14 - top pitch execelent steep but BIG jugs just as you need then well bolted. The whole climb is in the sun all day - need to take LOTS of water. Just follow the small cairns during the walking bits and you wont get lost. There is a stream on the walk out to replenish your water.

Aaron Phillips 12 Aug, 2011 2nd O/S 8 hours, slow climbing due to me being unconfident enough to lead. brilliant climb, absolutely worth doing. note: do NOT drink out of the river on the way down, you will catch beaver fever which is the most horrible sickness i have ever had.

PHILD 10 Sep, 2010 2nd Were aiming for a nice 200m route. Somehow found ourselves looking up this route at gone 3pm. Decided to give it a go! Hit the wall halfway through but carried on. I lead pitch 3, 5, 11, and 12. It got dark and Alex did pitches 14 and 15 with an E-light. I seconded 14 without and Alex managed to drop said E-light to me for the end of pitch 15. Finished by 2130 back at the campsite by 2315. Excellent day out!!
