Probably low in the grade and quite similar to Black Custard at The Pass. The most difficult part was getting through the wild rose bush at the top; it was like climbing through velcro. I faffed my extenders on the route and got rope drag as a result. I must confess to the next ascentionists: one of the chockstones through the crux overhanging crack came away in my hand and is now at the bottom of the crag. I don't know if this will alter the grade but if it does then it did for me also! - and I got the benefit of the fright. I take it this route is hardly ever climbed with rose bushes and loose holds at the crux. Anyway it was a good route. with Will |
