The rock on this pitch is not quite as good as elsewhere at Arch and the thin crack feels a little out of place. Nevertheless, this is a very good pitch of jamming / lay backing / stemming in a left facing corner.
Start on a small ledge 5m below a tree. Climb poor rock to the start of the obvious corner. Climb the corner to a two-bolt anchor. A second pitch of crack climbing is sometimes clean enough to be worth climbing (5.9). Alternatively, continue up the bolt protected face climb, Inner Sanctum. These pitches share a bolted anchor.
Descend by abseil.
