Probably one of the best natural gritstone aretes in Lancashire, unprotected and slightly overhanging. Also quite gritty so careful with the footwork!

βeta: Tickled Pink E5 6a A really good variation giving an even more intense experience. Climbed solo on-sight around 1985 by Owain Jones. Start at the toe of the arete and climb the right facing corner to the roof. Later to become the start of The Way of The Pocket. Using the crack at the left of the roof make a committing layaway and transition around the arete to finish up KTP without any use of the higher starting ledge of the original route.
