Probably one of the best natural gritstone aretes in Lancashire, unprotected and slightly overhanging. Also quite gritty so careful with the footwork!

Shunted then soloed. Not the best style, but was happy enough given how lonely it is up there on your own without a phone signal on a Friday evening. Really nice moves, steady, and not as insecure as the latest guide suggests. Cleaned and comprehensively descrittlized.

Straightforward climbing with the most committing move at the top. You wouldn't want to fall off but then you're unlikely to by then. Onsight would be a very different prospect.

First E4! Awesome route, a bit gritty so cleaned with brush while on the on-sight!
