A good alternative to the scree path. The obvious craggy headwall of the coire, to the right of the scree path up to the main bealach. The scramble is divided roughly into two sections of steep climbing on rock well broken-up with slightly sloping ledges. The upper buttress is somewhat steeper and features poor holds which are often sloping and greasy. The line finds the easiest route up the crag; on the upper buttress this is somewhat to the left. The crux is an awkward mantleshelf move in an exposed position, after which the climbing is easier.

Only a hill 20 Jun, 2008 Solo An exploratory venture into solid ground instead of the scree path! Satisfactory scrambling, a bit hairy at the crux in my old bendy SLs but nevertheless not hard for a Grade 3, and short too.
