Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

Pete_Frost 16 Sep, 2017 AltLd RP I must have missed something because I had to lower-off from the crux of the bottom pitch and climb it again. The gear on p1 is great where it counts. and a determined approach to the overhang is required - I had to go almost horizontal to back-and-foot into a precarious bridge before I could pull through and get in good jams. The top pitch is unprotected apart from the red cam in the break a few feet above the belay. A fun route nevertheless.

dan ely ??, 2010 Lead O/S not sure about route discribtion in guide book(north gogarth, ground up). seemed to be more e1 5c if you manage to climb purly on the overhanging crack. also gear is alomst non existant on top pitch. so its a bit confusing but very worthwile as has great charater and style

WoodP 5 Apr, 2009 Lead dog Rested on cam passing the first block. Left Gemma's red cam on first pitch and it would have been the only pro in a pocket to the left of the line on the slab above on pitch two.
