Information from the SMC 2008 update on new routes
Easy to spot from road - has a green water board fence running along behind it.
Crag heavily vegetated on some routes, needs a thorough clean.
Pleasant outlook over surrounding area on a nice day.
Best to park near scout hall and walk up the hill to crag.
Lots of rubbish including broken glass and old cans lying about - would be helpful if all visitors to the crag could take away what they can (and not leave any more rubbish!).

Really nice crag. Very little loose rock and plenty of gear on all routes except Wallace wall and right edge. All routes felt a grade easier than topo although initial moves on the VSs were maybe too hard for HS.

Fantastic beginners crag with lovely views over Clackmannanshire

Pleasant spot. Since this crag clearly gets a lot of use by beginners I think it may be worth mentioning that, at least in my opinion, the routes here are presently significantly overgraded - there is nothing here harder than Severe. Someone without experience of 'VS' any where else could get very nasty shock at another crag.

Picked up someone's empty metolious chalk packet, c'mon dudes keep it tidy!!!!!

Please stop 'cleaning' this crag. It was never vegetated and the removal of surrounding turf and loose holds just reveals more loose rock and soil underneath. Way too much attention for this tiny, yet pleasant bit of rock.

Routes have change due to loose rock.

Comparing the topo photo with the present condition of the crag I would say that the guys who cleaned this crag done a sterling job. The rock is very clean and free from grass, moss and dirt now. A very pleasant place to climb for a few hours.
Choss Weasel - 20/Jul/10
