Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 730m a.s.l

Crag features

A predominantly bolted limestone crag with easy access from nearby cities, such as Oviedo. Grades from V to 7c, climbs of 1-2 pitches. Whilst most of the routes are equipped, some routes are *not bolted*, as detailed in the guide book. A set of nuts can come in handy.

Approach notes

From Oviedo: Follow the A63 (signposted "Grado") out of Oviedo, then take the exit signposted 'Trubia'. Go through Trubia, and follow the road through to Proaza. Continue through Proaza until you see a large lake on the right (around 15 minutes past Proaza). Immediately after passing the lake, a small road on the left is signposted "Escucela de Escalada: El Llano". Follow these signposts to limited parking at the end of the road. Please leave room for people to turn around!
