Nice setting next to gurgling stream waterfall and views over Loch Ness.
From town follow the great glen way towards Inverness, once on the larger track follow it towards inverness for 5-10 mins until the information board about the crannog settlement in Loch Ness, turn left here onto the smaller track opposite the info board, following this for 10 mins up through the woods, then coming out onto a larger forestry track. Turn left onto this and follow it for 150m ish until a stream comes down from the right and passes under the track. Follow this stream up on its left hand side for 5 mins until near where the stream angle lessens by the final small waterfall. The boulder in on the left of this, it's more of a face of rock as the upper side is still in the ground. Enjoy and I hope you think it's worth the walk!
