Up to 1200m high and 5km wide, Bisotun is one of the largest limestone cliffs in the world. It is an awesome climbing destination for climbers of all abilities.
Climbing to summit is possible in a day for a fast team but there are 3 small huts and 3 large ledges if an overnight stop is required. The wall has many routes and there is plenty of new route potential. The wall is also an ancient place and is protected in a few areas by the Unesco and the government and climbing is forbidden.
