A handful of routes from 6a to 6c in a truly delightful setting, tucked away in the jungle behind an isolated beach.
Thus crag has a sure contender for the steepest 6a anywhere. Grades of routes from L-R on the main crag are approx 6b+/6c, 6b, 6a, 6a+. All have more buckets than a garden centre.
Head to the beach by Arawan resort in Ao Nammao. Park your bike at the end of the tarmac and walk/wade (care required due to sharp rock underfoot in some areas) around the coast towards Railay East. After a while you'll see a beach. Looking at the beach from the sea, walk into the jungle along the base of the rock at the right hand end of the beach. After 100m or so you'll see the crag... Some new routes are also now visible right on the beach, protected by rope slings only.
None, but park considerately by the beach at Arawan resort.
