Crag features
Two granite boulders. One with lots of challenging potential although covered in lichen at the moment. I climbed at least seven problems on all faces of the other boulder and suspect them to range from VB/V0 to V3. I've got a photo of the boulder too.
Fantastic quality granite, wonderful friction and some interesting rounded topouts. Great landings all round.
Approach notes
Drive as far up Glen Clova as you are allowed to. Park at the forestry commission car park. Walk up towards Moulzie farm and a few hundred meters before reaching the farm, the woodland opens up and you can see two large granite boulders on your left. Easy to find! Grid Reference NO 284 774
I am sure the problems must have been climbed before (I'm not claiming any new routes) but I can't find any information on their names or grades anywhere. Shame, it really is excellent climbing in a lovely setting.
