Crag features

The south couloir and the northeast ridge are of note for mountaineers. The south couloir is very good when it is full of snow. The ski traverse from the Refuge du Rabuons with a descent down the steep southwest slope is classic.

Approach notes

The Rabuons hut can be reached either from St. Etienne de Tinée or from the Italian side via the Pas d'Ischiator; the latter is much more remote and longer, especially in winter.
