Most of the cliffs are dangerous, almost unclimbable overhanging chalk, however there are some easier, safer lines in amongst it all. Abseil inspection for stability is advised and useful to have the abseil rope for help out at the tops which are usually pretty hideous.
The lower two thirds of the routes are joyful chalk climbing in wonderful rock architecture, just be careful of the upper sections. The gear is surprisingly not too bad for chalk, but tends to run out towards the top.
Park at North Landing car park (small reasonable fee), and walk to the cliffs. There are good viewpoints from the other side of the bay. There are platforms at the base of the routes at low tide.
Seasonal nesting restrictions.
