Dinorwig meets Les Revenants. Usually submerged. Water level needs to be 30 metres below full level to walk to the bottom. Oh the summer of 2021. Beautiful clean glacier scraped and wave washed slab. Intricate freshwater sponges adorn the lowest rocks. Few are the holds. At the very top the old railway trackbed is carved directly out of the bedrock.
From Fersit, walk south to the dam, drop down onto the trackbed of what was once the railway and follow this south for about 1km, crossing some heaps of spoil and passing interesting tunnels and over a slightly dilapidated bridge. The top of the crag is about 100m south of the south end of the railway tunnel at Creagan Faraidh.
