New year's evening 2009 on Buachaille Etive Beag © hwackerhage
A NE - SW ridge with two munros and two minor tops. The climbs and scrambles are on the N and E faces of Stob nan Cabar, the northernmost minor top. The E face has 4 gullies, while the N face has a popular accessible scramble low on its RH end and a blunt spur that can be treated as either climb or scramble on its left end, where the faces meet.
The two munro summits have their own separate entries in the database.
Plenty of parking for the gullies and Alltnafeadh Buttress at the foot of the Lairig Gartain path (213 559). For Creag nan Cabar there is a small layby opposite the crag at 198 559.
