A collection of small areas, mostly alongside small stream in the forest.
The Sanctuary offers the best rock and some worthwhile problems, but is also the furthest walk.
Approach notes
On highway 36 halfway between Lyons and Estes Park turn West signposted Big Elk Meadows. Follow this road for about 2.2 miles (just before it turns to gravel) there is a small layby on the right.
The warmup blocks are just opposite on the other side of the road. For the other areas follow a small path from the layby downhill to a stream. Walk along this (upstream) and it leads eventually to the Sanctuary (about 30mins hiking).
