Quality climbing in a stunning location overlooking sligo bay and glencar valley. Situated on the north side of the Glencar valley and comprises the two tier buttress high above the western end of the Glencar Lake (Grid Ref 733445, Sheet 16, Sligo, Leitrim & Fermanagh).
ke the road which passes along the north side of glencar lake, you will pass the crag and the parking place for the devils chiminy waterfall. just before the glencar waterfall parking, there is a small road which winds up to the top of the mountain. park at the top and take the 40 min walk back west to the top of the crag. from here you can either abseil down the center up the upper teir (stake and chain abb point) or scramble down the estern edge of the crag.
