Crag features
Azad Kouh is located in the Alborz mountains of northern Iran. It is a popular peak to climb during spring and summer with the easiest route being the Southeast Spur. The mountain has a huge North Face but rockfall is a problem on the face.
Approach notes
From Chalous road and Pol-e-Zangule to the Jush-Balade road and the Kalaak Village you can access the Azad Kouh.
