A selection of crags in a small fairly tight gorge, up on the slopes of Beinn Fhada, south of the A52, above the Meeting of Three Waters.
Although the climbs appear grubby, the positive often juggy holds are generally clean enough, although its worth sending your mate to ab down the harder routes to give them a brush. The central crack had an old peg. This was called "The Squirrels Crack" after the Edinburgh club as they climbed it and also the prominent crack across the river on the A82 opposite "the Drey"
Approach notes
Approach directly from a layby by a grit bin a couple of hundred metres west of the Study, 10 mins. You can also approach from the layby to the east (easier if the streams are in spate).

| there is some sort of bird of prey nesting under the roof of "African Swallow". Recommend avoiding this climb at the moment. The raptor didn't seen to mind us climbing the routes either side however. Not sue what it was, I'm no expert. Smelly Fox - 02/Apr/14 |
