Crag features

The Main Face is tidal, and the routes at its east end are shorter. To the west of the Main Face is Mink Buttress.

There are 3 topos at colinmoody.com under Ulva (16 May 2022), more might be added later in the year. These have copyright so it was not possible to add them directly to UKC.

Approach notes

A boat provides a link between Ulva Ferry (on Mull) and Ulva. The ferry is £6 return and runs 9-5 Sunday-Friday. A good map (and great seafood) is available at the Boathouse.

From the Boathouse, take the Farm Circuit clockwise. Just after you pass Ulva House on the right are some farm buildings, and a house with a greenhouse and garden below. Here take the left signposted for Livingstone's Cave. Follow the path for 15-20mins until directly below Dùn Bhioramuill (distinctive hill with a memorial stone on top), then cut off the path to the coast. Various shallow gullies give access to the crag; there is also a belay stake in place as of 8/2019.
