Of main interest is the huge classic 3000ft+ trad route of Cresta del Benicadell, but there are sport routes here too, unfortunately I only have details of two, a 6a which also requires a rack, and a 6b+ which is apparently fully bolted. As these routes are 200mts and 150 mts respectively thats probably enough for a day anyhow.
It is approached from Gandia on the CV60, to Castello de Rugat close to Salem, then take the road to Rafol de Salem and up the road to Beniatjar. At a sharp turn on the CV615 is a fire road heading up towards the hill; follow this continuously uphill to park at ‘Les Planisses’ hut, just before the barrier across the road (you can drive no higher).
To get to the start of the ridge, follow the track uphill and take the first left on to the concrete road, shortly after, at a col, take the righthand of the two footpaths, contouring the hillside to the foot of the ridge
