Nice selection of easy climbs, though protection is sparse on some routes. Generally quiet - good for an evening climb or half day.

Park at the Blea Tarn car park, turn left out of the car park and cross the cattle grid and a small beck. Shortly after there is a footpath leading steeply upwards, follow this for about 200m and then take a small trod on the right across to the crag. Approx 5 mins from the road.
Gear is quite sparse on many of the routes here - a good range of small to medium cams is essential unless you enjoy soloing. Rog Wilko - 08/Jul/19 |

Details of routes at this pleasant little crag are to be found in the F&R New Climbs 2018 booklet.
Approach notes: the crag is not visible till you actually reach it. The path up the fellside starts diagonally then turns straight up and steepens. When the steep section levels out and then bears diagonally right again is the time to contour around to the crag (for about 100 metres) Rog Wilko - 08/Jul/19 |
