Trad climbing on granite in Cadarese, Italy © astrange
Cadarese is one of the most varied and largest crack climbing areas in mainland Europe. Routes vary from 4a to 8a, from tips to Offwidth and from 8m to 35m. Although almost all lines can be climbed with friends, there are bolts in several routes. There was a long discussion about that and bolts have been chopped on some routes, others have remained. Footholds are rare, so it is a good place to learn to crack climb.
Park considerately on the verges before the private road. Do not park in the open grass fields below the crag. 15-45min depending on sector chosen.
|The car-parking for all sectors is opposite from the Thermes di Premia (thermal baths) building.
