Guidebooks

Northern England

The book is a selected route and crag guide although it still manages to pack over 2350 routes between its covers, spread across 44 crags. The main focus is on routes of all grades from Moderate to E9, but the best bouldering is also described.
More info
First time back at Caley since 2008. Couldn't believe how sad it all looked with so many great problems regressing back to nature, Wish I had taken some gardening gear and a stiff brush. Looks like an organised clean up would help sort it out.

caley is split into two main areas, the roadside boulders (the large boulders obviously visable from the road) and caley crag which is acessed via a 5 min walk up the path behind the gate. Both areas provide exelent bouldering with most of the routes being in the top area. It is an execlent place to climb although it can be green in winter and may take a few visits to find the best bits.
