The parallel line to Slape Direct gives a contrasting route with some serious and committing climbing on both pitches. Start below the crack 3m to the right of Slape Direct.1) 5c, 20m. The thin crack which leads to a junction with Brant is no pushover. Follow the groove above to a tree belay.2) 5b, 25m. Take the large flake behind the tree to a smooth wall. Move boldly up this wall in fear of the ankle-snapping ledge below and breathe a sigh of relief when you gain the better-protected groove. Follow this to a ledge and move right to the abseil/belay on Stroll On. © Rockfax
