Crag features
excellent tremadog dolerite. you will need a mat or two but on the whole the landings are pretty reasonable. Gets the sun from early on.
Approach notes
Park at ysbyty alltwen. Follow the path that runs around the right hand side of the hospital and turn left by the small play area. This leads up towards the crags. From the stile turn right. A flat area soon appears with a couple of small boulders. From here the first problems are either just over on the left (shylock block) or down to the right by the fence (twin arete slab). To reach phils roof walk 200m rightwards through the trees staying close to the fence until it comes into view over on the left.
Try the triple crown challenge. You won't be disappointed!
