At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though.
Altitude 200m a.s.l
A large and remote cliff almost 1km long and 200m high inits centre. It lies on the east flank of the small hill of Tamanisdale, overlooking the golden sandy beach at the head of Loch Dibadale. The rock is very compact and the routes are generally not well protected.
From the campsite at the south end of Uig Sands, continue west along the B8011 for 0.9 miles/1.5km to a new track running south for 10km to the sea at Loch Tamanavay. Follow this to a locked gate where it crosses the Stockgill River after about 1km.
Moutain bikes recommended.
