A small outcrop of rocks which provide a few pleasant bouldering problems. Whilst it is certain that these rocks have been climbed many times before, the problems suggested here might provide inspiration for future visitors. If you are passing with your climbing shoes then it's worth stopping to appreciate the positive, unpolished rock, which drys fairly quickly.
The problems are listed left-to-right as you face the wall (based on starting position). Topo's are available to complement the problem descriptions:
The lane (Tai Felin) which leads up to the rocks is a single track deadend road, and has no public parking areas, so please don't drive this way. Ample parking is available a few minutes walk away at The Caban, which also happens to have a very nice cafe. Approach the by walking down the lane (Tai Felin) until a footpath leaves the lane through a kissing gate, the rocks are just after the kissing gate to the right of the footpath.
The crag is near private residences and in an area that is sometimes used for grazing livestock. Dogs should be kept on leads and noise should be kept to a minimum to ensure a good relationship with the local residents. As always please take all your rubbish home and try to leave the area as you would want to find it.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
