Approach notes

From the dam, travel around the lake clockwise (go straight on at the dam), and follow it for 1.7 miles, you will come to the small Norsworthy Bridge and its large parking area. Keep following the road, for another 0.4 miles to the 'Arboretum' car park and park on the left.

Head through the gate from the car park into the Arboretum Discovery Trail. Follow the path as it trends left immediately after the gate until you reach a 'T junction' with a bridge on your left. Follow 'The Boardwalk' (shown on a map in the car park) a very obvious wooden walkway alongside the stream, where this ends continue to follow the path right and you will soon approach a double gate on your left. Over the double gate you will find yourself on a forestry path, follow this to the left. The forestry path skirts the bottom of the tree line, after passing a number of numbered wooden posts the path turns slightly right and a little further along from this is a forestry path going straight up into the woods. If you follow this path up into the woods it trends upward further still and right, on the left of the path is a large crude oval slab of rock. The thus far established boulders are above the path from here.
