A small steep outcrop of solid granite hidden in the trees opposite Muncaster Castle. A number of sizeable boulders are situated below the crag, offering some bouldering.
Park in the large lay-by next to a stile, cross this and head straight into the woods. The Mon Boulder should be visible sitting on the woodland edge, close the gate!
The crag and the boulders below are on private land and part of the Muncaster estate.
Access is "sensitive" so don't hang around crossing the field and close the gate!
