Crag features

There are 9 sectors in the valley facing north, west and south from the village of Fígols. Sector Xapat faces south and has a good selection of climbs in the 6s.

There are further routes, including multi-pitch routes and the iconic Cova on the Penya Narieda mountain, which faces the C-14 as you approach Organyá from Oliana.

There is also a new sector called "El Observatori" with routes from 6a to 7c (wip), not in any guidebook.

Approach notes

The access to most crags is from the Parking that was created specifically for climbers: Google Maps.

You need to walk towards town for 50mts and then turn back to follow a steep path that has been recently paved. There is a sign at the entry that says "Prohibit el pas" ("Do not pass"). I am not sure who put that sign there but there is no problem on accessing this road. Indeed this is a Public path.

You can also access it with a 4x4 but bear in mind that the path is in pretty bad condition and there is not a lot of parking up on the road. Please do not block the road. For the sector Xapat better to drive to "Codonyes" and park there, Google Maps.
