An unnamed and probably rarely climbed icefall (WI3). Lyngen, Norway. © TobyA
A series of icefalls all about 120 to 200 metres long above Fjellheim farm. Descend by walking north until the cliff reaches a big gully. One easy abseil allows access to the cliff base.
One of the very obvious cliffs seamed with icefalls north of Furuflaten and south of Lynseidet. Park sensibly somewhere near Fjellheim farm. The Istinden icefalls are due east of the 865 metre summit of Istinden, and above the area called Polleidet on the Storfjord Map (Norge 1:50000 sheet 691)
