Crag features

This is the large deep Zawn immediately west of the German observation post at L'Angle. There are climbs on both sides of the Zawn, some are multi-pitch with the upper pitches possible at high tide using an abseil descent. Some climbs on the western side require stake belays and an extra rope which may not exist.

Test any in-situ stakes thoroughly as they may be original German barbed-wire stakes from WW2!

Approach notes

Park as for Gull Zawn. You can scramble into the mouth of the Zawn from Mole Wall on the western side, or from halfway out to Inominate Point on the eastern side. Descents have been made into the back of the zawn but currently look pretty dodgy. The zawn is very tidal, and it's proximity to the cliffpath means helmets are essential.
