From Cusco: Catch a minibus or colectivo taxi from Calle Puputi for Calca or Urubamba (the vehicles going to Pisac only don't go far enough) and ask to get off at the "rompemuelle" at the entrance to Lamay (where there are lots of cuy restaurants).
From Urubamba: The minibuses that serves the Urubamba-Cusco (via Calca) route (leaving from near the BCP bank) will taken you all the way to Lamay (ask to get off at the "rompemuelle" as you start to leave Lamay, where the cuy restaurants are). Alternatively, the Corazon de Huanca minibuses that leave from the main terminal in Urubamba will take you as far as Calca and from here take any minibus or colectivo taxi that goes toward Pisac or Cusco.
From the main stop in Lamay: The main bus-stop for Lamay is outside the market building, two blocks WSW of the plaza. The crags are all very accessible from the main stop (although El Canal, El Pilar and Huequitos are closer to where the cuy restaurants are), around a 5-10 minute walk.
Two sectors of this crag (El Canal and Wayra Wasi) are part of the town and its areas of cultivation, so please be respectful of people around you and keep the footpath/road clear of your belongings etc. Follow designated footpaths to the other sectors ("El Pilar" and "Huequitos") and note that occassionally the community will use the land for crops.
There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
