Crag features

Crag name based on a UCK article on climbing in the Picos de Europa.
However also known as "Las Cabadas" or "Cabrales"
Around 18 routes between 4+ and 7a+. Excellent for beginners. Routes are labelled on the rock with grade and a name.
The only existing topo is free from the nearby campsite, and the guy at reception will point out the crag to you (in Spanish).

The routes appear to have fairly recently been re-bolted, including biners at the top anchors to clip your rope directly into (rather than having to do any fiddling around before being lowered off the climb).

Ground fairly dry even in light rain due to slight over hang of crag in places and dense bush at bottom (lots of room to belay though).

The campsite http://www.campingnaranjodebulnes.com/ is excellent.

Approach notes

15 min walk from the bridge west of the campsite and east of the village; if you head directly uphill to a dirt t-junction, turn right and follow the road as it zigzags up towards the obvious cliff face (there are yellow dots/arrows to follow but these are obscured by foliage in places) then turn left off dirt track to follow bush track zigzag upwards to crag. Or from the highest point in the village head east and park on the road below the crag and follow the bush track. 5 mins walk.

This is the same crag as Las Cavades described separately and with a correct map location. This does not include all the routes and is incorrectly located.
