Loch Tarsan crag shot © Fraser
Felling at the start of 2019 meant that Loch Tarsan crag became visible to the road. Since then 7 lines have been bolted with potiental for more. The routes are reasonably long and technical on featured schist. Grades still await consensus.
Park at the SE side of the loch, be careful not to block the gated access.
When the water level is low (through most of the summer) the crag can be reached in 20 mins by walking around the edge of the loch until the crag comes into view. If the water level gets really high through the winter it can take longer and kayak or canoe can make for a fun alternative.
