Treen Castle is the magnificent rocky headland that forms the eastern arm of Porthcurno Bay. The headland is a delight of hidden small zawns, short walls, chimneys, and cracks, with the presence of the sea all around. Topography is challenging: bring an exploratory approach.
Turn left out of Treen car park and then turn left again, after a few metres, onto a short path between houses. Go over a stone stile. Continue on a signposted path through several fields to reach the coast path. Treen castle is gained by a clear path through a break in the earth ramparts. Numerous paths meander toward the centre of Treen Castle and the 'Logan Rock'.
