This massive broken crag, reaching 30m in height, almost blocks the path northwards from the road end towards the very northern tip of Raasay. It is a striking and well positioned, if somewhat ramshackle outcrop, known locally as The Pipers' Cliff, which offers good routes still easily within a day's compass from the ferry.
