Originally the only developed crag on this side of the valley was the super-steep wall of Les Toulousains (developed by climbers from Toulouse!) with its hard and pumpy tufa-routes. There have been a lot of new crag developments here, much of it by immigrant Brit John Arran who lives close by in the village of Ornolac-Ussat-les-Bains. There are four new sectors with over 70 routes, many which have already proved popular, the long steep lines of Musical on the left, Precipice under the Spoulga, Britannique on the right, and the newest sector, Espace, behind the old thermal baths.
