Nice steep quartzite crag. The approach walk takes seconds but the road up through the forest is a bit of a bumpy horror
Driving South from Briancon (N94), turn left just after the intermarche. Follow the road through Le Villaret. Turn left onto an unmade switchback track. Park on the bend below the Crag. The first routes are Secteur 3, Droite
Perilous approach on the dirt road. Not the place for a hire car when your card details and excess are on the line! Luckily the hire car company didn't look underneath. DON'T DO IT!!!! monkey1 - 21/Jun/11 |

A 4X4 OR TANK would enable the drive up the forest track easier snakes77 - 21/Jun/11 |

The drive up the unmade track is possibly the most dangerous part of your day! Its single track with very few passing places.
Might be better to park at St Martin de Queyrieres and take the marked trail up instead? Mike-W-99 - 21/Jul/10 |
