Climbs 31
Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 1194m a.s.l
Faces W
An ideal crag for beginners, with plenty of good slab climbing. It can be very sunny here in the afternoon but the bottom of the wall stays shaded by the trees.
The crag does tend to seep for a long time after rain.
From the D907 (Annemasse -Taninges road: to the N of the main Bonneville - Cluses drag) turn N at St-Jeoire and go up through the Gorges du Risse to Onnion. Turn L on to the D190b towards the Plateau Plaine Joux. After a series of hairpins the road levels out. Park on the left.
Follow the muddy track down to the W and the N face quickly becomes apparent. Just after this leave the main path and descend steeply L to the base of the main wall.
