Crag features

Located in the area known as OltreFinale, in Val Varatella, Toirano is characterised by impressive rocks of limestone-dolomite reaching heights of 1000 meters or more. The quality of the local rock and the type of cliffs allow a full array of climbs whose 500 routes traced on compact and crystalline rock can satisfy the most diverse climbing styles. This rock is characterised by clean holds, drop-shaped erosions and grooves with degrees of difficulty ranging from third degrees to the 8a+. It offers single-pitch routes of 6 to 37m, multi-pitch climbs up to 210m and boulders on natural rocks.

In the area of Toirano, climbing is possible 365 days a year thanks to a mild climate mitigated by the sea and the different orientation of its cliffs.
