A fantastic little sports crag with a lot packed in a very small area! Good quality limestone ranging from F4+ to F8b+. Lots of mid grade slab climbs up to 25m in length. Does suffer from seepage after heavy rainfall and the ground does get boggy. Is popular with the locals on the weekend.
All in-situ clips have recently been taken out from the popular roof climbs. Bring mailions if any routes are to be worked/retreated from.
The rock is compact dolomite offering both slabs and overhangs.
Take the turning signposted 'Castello' halfway down the Falzarego Pass. Continue down the track and park 50m before the castle. The crag lies 50m off the road on the right.

Had a great day here, thanks to Rushy and Lynne for recommending it. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Dave Foster - 16/Sep/10 |
