Crag features

A pleasant bouldering venue with the odd gem and scope for more development. Grades may be inflated on problems which haven't had a second ascent.

The crag is north-facing and some problems are prone to seepage. Many may be rapidly brought into condition by drying holds with a rag and chalking them.

Approach notes

From Brixham harbour, follow the coast road beyond the Breakwater to Shoalstone car park. Approximately 100m back towards the town are some steps down to the beach and the first problems.

The crag is tidal with about 3 hours access either side of low water but the Caving Inn Area is easily cut off and only has 2 hours access at most. It is wise to time low tide for here and work westwards.

Sector photo uploaded now. Lovely place to chill on a lowish tide. Only elimination wall is truly non-tidal.

I'm literally standing on the beach now and to be honest I can't really see anything worth climbing the break down of sectors would be better if more clear... Like which ones are the non tidal beach problems!?

Beautiful little beach, the best in Brixham! Needs a bit more traffic :-) 'Last Days of Summer' is quality!
