Crag features

Smallfield Roof was developed by Mike Adams and Tony Simpson in 2006. A small yet surprisingly good set of roof problems. Dancing Man is worth a visit if you're operating at 7a.

Smallfield Dale was further developed in the early 2010’s before a full expansion on both sides of the road in 2022/23 by Ryan Rogerson and Jeff Hope. Further contributions and testing by Tony Moody and Dave Tidman.

Draft guide here.

Approach notes

Park considerately in the layby which is good for 4 or 5 cars. Smallfield dale access is 50m back up the hill on the right through the gate, Smallfield roof blocks are best accessed with a 200m walk down the road then turn up to the roof and branch out from there. Cinderella can be accessed via a scramble from the one car parking place at the end of the road if you fancy heather bashing.

We've staked a rough path from the road to cinderella, please try and keep to it. At the moment people are walking allover the Moor and ut won't regenerate
