The quarry is very slabby, and gives high-grade technical climbs. Pegs placed by the first ascentionists were constantly stolen and some of the more critical runners have been replaced by bolts. It is one of only two bolt-sanctioned areas in Pembroke.
The quarry lies directly above the car park for the south beach at Tenby, near the golf course.
